John Lafferty (c. 1759–?)
A Revolutionary War Soldier with ties to Cattaraugus County.
Service: Served three years as a private in Capt. Smith’s Co., Col. Polk’s Regiment of North Carolina.
Life: Moved to Freedom, NY, in 1821 and died there. He previously resided in Tioga Co., PA, when he applied for his pension in 1818.
