The Markham Inn was located on Markham Rd. just past the tracks. Now it is a private residence, moved here several years ago from the corner of Rt. 62 and Markham Rd. It was located close to the tracks and in proximity of the Markham Depot. This was located between the tracks and Dole St. On the far corner of Markham Rd. and Rt. 62 was the Maple Grove Inn, who had the best fish fry in the area.
