John Kimball (1760–1839)
A Revolutionary War Soldier with ties to Cattaraugus County.
Service: Extensive service in Connecticut units (1776–1782) under Captains Green, Mosely, and Riley. He was notably engaged at the Siege of Yorktown.
Life: Born in CT; died in West Valley, NY. He was buried on his own farm, and his grave was marked with an inscribed stone.
