The Summer at the Stone House event series continues on August 13th! Allen Hopkins, musician, will be presenting "Patriotic Songs". He plays American traditional, Celtic instrumental, a bit of Yiddish, blues, bluegrass, old timey, and contemporary. With varying degrees of expertise, he can handle guitar, banjo, mandolins of all sizes, Autoharp, English concertina, harmonica, bass (acoustic and electric), Dobro, Appalachian dulcimer, ukulele, and other odd instruments from tiple to kalimba.
All Summer at the Stone House events are free and open to the public and held at the Cattaraugus County Museum, which was once called the Stone House. They start at 7pm and typically last an hour. The Museum is located at 9824 Rt. 16 in Machias, NY 14101.
