Come to Leon NY for a historical and cultural event featuring Amish and Enlish crafts, demonstrations, foods and more!  Leon, NY has approximately 1380 residents and the Amish community comprises about 75% of that number.  The Old Order Amish settled in Leon in 1949.  For their Homestead Day on June 18th, they will have Quilts, Crafts, lunches, and HOrse Drawn Wagon Rides.  Demonstrations will feature quilting, spinning, knitting, crocheting, iron works, basket making and making maple syrup.  There is free parking and the Leon Historical Society Museum will be open.  Lunches will include Amish Ice Cream and popcorn, bag lunches, walking tacoes, drinks, coffee and tea and are available for a small price.  This fun event will run from 10am to 4pm.
