The largest facility for treating tuberculosis and other medical issues was located in Perrysburg at the J N Adam facility (see the article under the Town of Perryburg). However, many other treatment facilities were located throughout Cattaraugus County. One pictured was the old stone building on Prospect Ave in Salamanca, NY. This building is still standing and through the years rumors of paranormal activity have surrounded its existence.
