On Saturday, January 7 from 12-3 PM, we will conduct a Genealogy Fair at the Great Valley Town Hall. This event will be modeled after the “Genealogy Roadshow” on PBS. Please bring information on your oldest known ancestors with birth and death dates, if you have them.
During this event, we will have family trees available to assist anyone in finding out more about their family’s history in Great Valley. There will also be copies of old maps showing where people once lived and Great Valley census records. If we do not have information on your family, we will assist you in learning how to discover your family history. Pioneer Certificates, Founding Fathers, settled before 1840; Settlers, before 1880; and Early Residents, before 1920 will be given, once your connections have been established. If you are interested in learning more about his, please contact Dawn Westfall at daylight123@gmail.com.

The Great Valley Town Hall is located at 4808 Rt. 219 Great Valley, NY 14741.
