Franktown Cemetery

Franktown Cemetery is located on the left side of the road up on a small hill or knoll.  Many early settlers lay to rest here, yet more recent burials have occurred in the 1900s.  The first settler to the town, Henry Frank, Sr., who was born in 1752 and died in 1840 is buried here.  Mr. Frank was a Revolutionary War Veteran.  In addition to Frank, four veterans from the Civil War and two from WWI are also buried on this hillside.
