Poor House Cemetery

This cemetery does not include individual headstones listing dates of birth and death, nor names.  Rather there is ONE stone marker and one wooden marker placed for remembrance of those individuals who passed away at the "Poor House".  Considered derelicts, the residents were men, women, and sometimes children, who were considered to be indigent, aged, orphaned, infirm and insane.
